Protein Meal

Our protein powder is made from crushed dried Black Soldier Fly Larvae. Oil and water contents have been removed from the protein powder to produce a high protein content blend which can be incorporated into feed for livestock and aquaculture. With low amounts of moisture in the protein powder, its shelf life is stable and long.

Oil & Bio-diesel

BSFL oil is rich in lauric acid, commonly found in coconut and palm kernel oils. It has antibacterial effects, which extends its shelf life. Oils with such acid profiles are used in nourishing livestock, aquaculture, and even pets. Further uses of this oil includes medical and bio-diesel purposes.

Organic Fertiliser

Our organic fertilizer is a by-product of growing Black Soldier Fly Larvae. It is generally made up of BSFL frass (larvae poo), its exoskeleton sheds and any unfinished organic feed. This natural fertilizer is a nutrient rich mix of N-P-K in balanced proportions.

Chitin

Current commercial chitin production is from shellfish waste through chemical treatment. This process is energy-consuming and generates environmentally toxic waste. Chitin is the building block of exoskeletons found on insects, which includes Black Soldier Fly Larvae. Chitin collected from BSFL has high purity levels and will be available for water purification, pharmaceutical and cosmetics purposes, etc.
